Description

Your students are all exceptional people, but what if their future success was more connected to their mindsets than to all of their amazing, gifted skills? Research is showing mindset to be the ultimate predictor of success, rather than skill. Trainer Nicole Shannon has found that students with growth-mindsets, and a sense of perseverance and grit, fare better than their equally gifted peers.

This course will help you:

  • Understand why gifted students are prone to negative, fixed mindsets
  • Learn to “hear” and reframe fixed-mindset thoughts
  • Encourage growth-mindsets in your students

    Great information.

This course was great and I feel like I had an advantage because of previously reading Angela Duckworth’s book “Grit”. I am a firm believer in developing as thinker rather than just knowing answers and I strive to develop that in my students.

Very nice course, while nothing is new and mind blowing it is a good application of many concepts that have been bandied about.
