Presenter Bio

Andi McNair currently teaches Gifted and Talented students at a small rural school at Bosqueville ISD in Texas. She has been a teacher for over a decade, teaching 4th/5th grade math before moving into gifted education. As a parent of gifted children, she is a strong advocate for gifted education. She regularly speaks at TAGT (Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented) and other conferences, particularly sharing her passion for innovative education. Andi is married to her high school sweetheart. They have three children and live in Waco, TX.

    Course gives you several tools that one can incorporate in the classroom. At the moment, I believe I can incorporate at least 2 technology tools. I will spend some time during summer learning about other tools/apps that will benefit my students next year. I need to make math meaningful to them and it needs to be done through technology.
