Brenda Davis is a school counselor with over 20 years of experience as an educator. She serves on the Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented Board of Directors. Her interests include gifted education and program design, social and emotional issues related to gifted females, and creativity.

I had never heard of this thinking strategy, so it was something new that I can try in my classroom. I think it will be very useful since many of my students just give up when they have a problem they struggle with and just wait for me to help them solve it. This will give them some questions to ask to get them started so they can become more independent learners.
