In this one-hour course, Brenda Davis breaks down the Six Thinking Hats strategy, a method of sorting out thoughts and messages to minimize confusion and give a clear picture of complex subjects. Brenda Davis is a school counselor with over 20 years of experience as an educator. She serves on the Texas Association for the Gifted & Talented Board of Directors. Her interests include gifted education and program design, social and emotional issues related to gifted females, and creativity.

    I can see how the system of hats relates to the approach on how the learner will take to respond. If we allow them to choose the safest response first then our students will build the confidence to keep engaging with another type of hat .
