This course was a challenge to relate and find ways to possibly utilize the strategies because of the subject I teach which is not ELAR, but it did give me a different perspective and some ideas on ways I could use some strategies.

  5. Vanessa – VICTORIA ISD (verified owner)

This course was extremely beneficial in giving many ideas in ways children’s literature can be used for some SEL lessons and introductions to units.

  9. Serena – VICTORIA ISD (verified owner)

The flyer I received for this course abbreviated the title, so I missed that this was geared specifically at primary learners; I was expecting something more universal. That said, I found that following this along brought to mind many ways in which secondary students can still benefit from help developing critical thinking and even social skills.

  10. Eliza – VICTORIA ISD (verified owner)

I liked the books mentioned and the discussions that can be made while reading the books to the class.
