Description
It used to be that society was separated into two classes: the smart and the creative (or left brained/right brained). Today, we know that creativity is an essential key to success for every student. In “Encouraging Creativity” Nicole Shannon explores why creative thinking is so important today, debunks creative myths, and shares activities you can use in your classroom.
In this 1-hour course, you will learn:
- Core principles in creative thinking from thought leaders like Sir Ken Robinson, Michael Michalko and Ian Byrd
- Practical strategies for inspiring your students to think creatively
- The connection between creativity and long-term success for students
- Strategies for using creativity to offset the stresses of standardized testing

I agree with the main point that creativity is the only way to survive. You need a sense of humor, you need to create especially during this pandemic. We need to recycle and protect our planet so definitely we creativity to be on top of our list when hiring new applicants with our modern day problems.
