Description
It used to be that society was separated into two classes: the smart and the creative (or left brained/right brained). Today, we know that creativity is an essential key to success for every student. In “Encouraging Creativity” Nicole Shannon explores why creative thinking is so important today, debunks creative myths, and shares activities you can use in your classroom.
In this 1-hour course, you will learn:
- Core principles in creative thinking from thought leaders like Sir Ken Robinson, Michael Michalko and Ian Byrd
- Practical strategies for inspiring your students to think creatively
- The connection between creativity and long-term success for students
- Strategies for using creativity to offset the stresses of standardized testing

This course was a bit taxing at times because it did not always keep my attention. It is crucial that when a course is being taken in this manner/ platform (recorded) the presenter must be animated and engaging.
