Presenter Bio
Timothy Gangwer is a pioneer in the field of visual learning and a dedicated educator of 26 years. He has served as visual literacy consultant to the Ministry of Education, Paris, France; Ministry of Education, Toranomon, Japan; Mediterranean Association of International Schools, Casablanca, Morocco; Association of International Schools in Africa, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; and as a trainer for the United States Department of Education’s National Diffusion Network. He is an international keynote speaker, educational consultant, and the director and co-founder of the Visual Teaching Alliance. A former elementary teacher of students with learning disabilities, he is also an award-winning digital artist and songwriter.

I love how this focuses on different kids of giftedness. We are quick to find labels sometimes (GT, AP, Sped, lazy, etc.), but we forget that these can sometimes overlap and that we should be finding the true “giftedness” of every child.
