Presenter Bio
Timothy Gangwer is a pioneer in the field of visual learning and a dedicated educator of 26 years. He has served as visual literacy consultant to the Ministry of Education, Paris, France; Ministry of Education, Toranomon, Japan; Mediterranean Association of International Schools, Casablanca, Morocco; Association of International Schools in Africa, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; and as a trainer for the United States Department of Education’s National Diffusion Network. He is an international keynote speaker, educational consultant, and the director and co-founder of the Visual Teaching Alliance. A former elementary teacher of students with learning disabilities, he is also an award-winning digital artist and songwriter.

I thought that some of the statements about the various disorders seemed outdated or overly generalized. It really was not on topic – the learning disabilities or disorders that may affect learning (ADHD, Autism, etc.) were explained, but there wasn’t much talk about how this plays out in twice-exceptional students.
