Presenter Bio
John DeLandtsheer has been a leader in gifted education throughout California for over 30 years and is a recognized leader, author, and resource to teachers and administrators in the area of gifted and talented education. John has taught all grades, K-12. He was an elementary school principal for fourteen years and has taught in the Gifted and Talented Education Certificate Program through the University of California at Riverside for over twenty years. John works with hundreds of teachers each year providing instructional strategies, classroom demonstration lessons, administrative assistance and program analysis.

I think the course helps open the eyes of the teachers into the world of different upbringings. With that knowledge, teachers will understand that all students CANT learn the same, so that teachers can adjust accordingly.
