Presenter Bio
Shannon Anderson has taught for 25 years, from first grade through college level. The highlight of her teaching career was being named one of the Top 10 Teachers to inspire the Today Show. She has served as the gifted coordinator for her school corporation, as well as a writing coach. Shannon is also an award-winning children’s book author and loves to do author visits. This training had amazing ideas to get young writers to use their creativity. It gives the teacher several examples of how to make writers exam texts more closesly and apply it in their writing. The writing activities were great and challenge writers to think creatively and outside the box.
