890 reviews for Bossy Pants, Perfectionists, and Slackers, Oh My!

  1. Elma – PHARR-SAN JUAN-ALAMO ISD (verified owner)

Modules gave me an insight of the 3 different types of mindsets and how to acknowledge and find ways to make learning fun.

  2. Valerie – CONROE ISD (verified owner)

Shannon Anderson did a great job discussing the Bosses-Perfectionism-Slackers type of students and how to redirect them into becoming leaders, knowing not everyone is perfect and that great goals can still be achieved; increased motivation to learn parallel with the student’s interests and experiences. It was geared particularly to elementary/intermediate grade levels, but can be utilized in the upper grades as well. I teach junior high. It would be nice if Mrs. Anderson can gear it up a bit for those levels with comparable recommended books.

  3. Feliciana – LOS FRESNOS CISD (verified owner)

This was more for elementary mindset, but found some interesting ideas and changed I can use for high school.

  4. MICHELLE A – SOCORRO ISD (verified owner)

Understanding why a person behaves this way and solutions on how to help

  5. Stephanie – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner)

I really liked the ideas she had for making her class a community and for helping her kids grow from the inside out.

  6. Nicole – PROSPER ISD (verified owner)

There is a wealth of info provided by the speaker I do wish it was more interactive. It is difficult to just sit and get for an hour.

  7. SANDRA ANNETTE – SOCORRO ISD (verified owner)

    It was very informative

  8. Diana – LOS FRESNOS CISD (verified owner)

I enjoyed this course immensely. The ideas presented are some that I can definitely apply with my students. I especially love the Author’s Chair. Imagine being the student that wins that chair! It was great to be reminded of so many ways to reach students that are bossy, perfectionists, or slackers. We sure do have those in our classrooms. The ideas to reach each type of student are so appropriate and would certainly help reach the students. I will certainly be visiting the website provided. I can’t wait to see what other gems I may find there.

  9. Maria – LOS FRESNOS CISD (verified owner)

I like how the course gave examples and suggested activities for various situations.

  10. Stephen – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

    She was spunky and energetic
