Connects the dimension to the Texas Teaching Standards
Provides what the appraisers will “look for” during classroom observations

The quizzes and reflection questions help to make sure the course participant is engaged and learning the material. I appreciate walking through the descriptors but read it myself beforehand so it wasn’t necessarily needed.

While the format (speaker, moving slides, interspersed questions/reflections) is somewhat engaging, I am essentially being read a document. I would benefit significantly more from practical application. I would rather have the document in full and adjust a unit I already have to reflect stronger teaching strategies or reflect/self-assess based on the rubric.
