I thought the presentation made good points, but found it dry!

I was so put off by her statements that people with low intelligence were more likely to be poor, to have babies out of wedlock, and to go to jail that I had to step away from the computer for a few hours. It’s like this lady never heard of institutional racism, but no, that can’t be right because she assured us that “bias is just statistics” and you can’t just look at something and say it’s biased. I don’t think this was very useful AT ALL. All I took away from it that I will incorporate is teaching number theory/multiplication by asking my daughter to help me stack cookies.

This was not my favorite course that I’ve taken. The information was good but I didn’t care for how it was presented. It may have been my computer, but it was very hard to hear and understand the speaker.
Adam – GALENA PARK ISD (verified owner) –
This was a constantly interesting presentation with a lot of great ideas.
Chris – REYNOLDSBURG CITY (verified owner) –
I liked that it gave strategies for how to deal with students struggling with these issues.
Donica – HARMONY SCIENCE ACAD (WACO) (verified owner) –
This presenter did an excellent job of keeping her segments short, interesting, and to the point.
Excellent resources as well.
