Description
Differentiation for gifted learners is not the same as differentiation in a regular classroom. In this 1-hour course, Richard M. Cash, Ph.D. draws from years of research and personal experience in gifted education to offer ideas for differentiating gifted courses. He discusses the various levels of the teaching and learning continuum and uses a framework to guide students toward greater learning autonomy through self-confidence.
In this course, you will learn to:
- Use pace to accelerate instructional practice
- Incorporate depth and complexity into your gifted courses
- Increase sophistication in the course through critical questioning

I felt the course was fairly generic, especially for an experienced teacher; however, this would be quite beneficial for a newer teacher who is looking to improve their classroom.
