152 reviews for Self-Regulation in the Gifted Classroom: An Overview

  1. Leeann – DEL VALLE ISD (verified owner)

This was a very interesting course and I really enjoyed learning about the obstacles GT students are faced with both personally and academically. As the counselor, I can see how important my role would be in working with the GT students to help them build relationships with others through mentorship and lastly the many different ways to check for understanding. I am going to use those ideas within my counseling lessons not just for the GT students, but for all students.

  2. Jacqueline – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

    Very detailed.

  3. Johnnie – LITTLE CYPRESS-MAURICEVILLE CISD (verified owner)

    This was useful information

  4. Sanns – DRIPPING SPRINGS ISD (verified owner)

The presenter was trying to be cute and funny but missed the mark. He talked a lot about the biology of cognition but didn’t really give any real world examples of self-regulation and behavior in the classroom.

  5. Melissa – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

Very informative. Thoroughly enjoyed the cognition discussion as well as the teaching learning continuum.

  6. Tessa – MANSFIELD ISD (verified owner)

I found this course to be informative, but I wish the presenter would have gone over more specific examples of the instruction he was describing.

  7. Juan – Pilot (verified owner)

    The course was beneficial.

  8. Michele – LITTLE CYPRESS-MAURICEVILLE CISD (verified owner)

This course was more for older kids rather than early childhood.

  9. Laura – BOERNE ISD (verified owner)

Very informative. What we do in the classroom with a better understanding.

  10. Cynthia – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

    Great!
