Description

Every student is unique, but gifted students from underrepresented populations often require special considerations. What factors do you need to be aware of, and how can you meet needs specific to students with diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds?

In this 3-hour course, learn the answers to these questions, and empower your underrepresented students to use the three ABCs of self-regulation:
  • Affect (drive, motivation, directing attention)
  • Behavior (actions, communication styles and skills)
  • Cognition (metaphysical, infracognitive and metacongitive thinking skills)
