Description
Every student is unique, but gifted students from underrepresented populations often require special considerations. What factors do you need to be aware of, and how can you meet needs specific to students with diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds?
- Affect (drive, motivation, directing attention)
- Behavior (actions, communication styles and skills)
- Cognition (metaphysical, infracognitive and metacongitive thinking skills)

This was a very interesting training. I have listened to other presentations by Dr. Cash and I have enjoyed those as well. Now to put things into practice will be a little challenging, but a good goal to achieve.
