I appreciate the simplicity of these ideas and the acknowledgement that although there are many wonderful ideas out there, they might not all be possible due to time and planning. The resources offered here can be used across many topic areas and will be processes taught up front and become a routine students can become familiar with and use successfully as the year progresses. I feel like I can hold my students to higher expectations without having to work 24/7 with many of these ideas!
