The first hour really resonated with me because it talked about how, as a society, we are training our brains for fast paced media and technological activities which in turn makes it difficult to slow down and learn in the classroom at times. I have seen it with my students and even experienced it myself! I also really liked how so many awesome activities were shared and even modeled so that teachers could see what they look like in action. Very helpful!
