In this 1-hour course you will explore: 

  • How to connect characteristics of gifted learners to their differentiation needs
  • Identifying the areas in the teaching and learning process in which differentiation will help gifted learners
  • Selecting and implementing appropriate technology tools to assist with the differentiation process

Presenter Bio

Becky Renegar is an experienced educator in the field of gifted education serving in the roles of
both gifted intervention specialist and gifted coordinator at Milton-Union Exempted Village
Schools. She holds a master's degree in Special Education (gifted) from Bowling Green State
University. In addition to seventeen years of classroom experience, Becky has also presented at
several state and local conferences and in the areas of gifted education and technology
integration and has been published in the OAGC Review.

    Overall this gave me some new resources I was needing for my creative thinking students and some sites to try for differentiation purposes. I would have liked to see the presenter show how some of these resources work. When I went online to try some of them, I found some confusing or had to create an account to try. Also it would be helpful to know which ones are free and which ones are not.
