Description

Differentiation is an important part of making sure that every one of your students is having their educational needs met. Creating well-differentiated lessons can make grading tricky, but educators Emily Savage and Dr. Jennifer Lorch say that it doesn’t have to be difficult. Presenter Bio

Emily Savidge is a current Masters of Education student at The Ohio State University. She is working towards obtaining her Ohio teaching license in Middle Childhood Education with a focus in language arts and social studies. She is currently completing her year-long student teaching placement in Columbus City Schools where she is working to meet the needs of the diverse population of students.Dr. Jennifer Lorch is currently working as a Middle School Gifted Curriculum Specialist in Columbus City Schools. She has worked as a mainstream and gifted cluster classroom teacher at the elementary and middle school levels, a gifted pull-out teacher, and as a gifted coordinator. In addition, she has presented at state, national, and world conferences about best practices and classroom tips for gifted teachers and parents.
