Presenter Bio
Angela Osborne is the first vice president of the Ohio Association for Gifted Children. She serves as gifted coordinator for Marion City Schools. Angela earned a B.A. and MBA prior to discovering her love of teaching. She then completed coursework through the Ohio State University and the University of Connecticut to earn her gifted licensure. She has been in the field of education for 15 years, all of which have been passionately focused on working with gifted students. Angela is a member of the Gifted Coordinators of Central Ohio (GCCO) and is currently serving as a representative to the OAGC Governing Board.
Suzanne Palmer is the president elect of the Ohio Association for Gifted Children. She has been in gifted education for nearly 20 years. Suzanne started her teaching career as a gifted intervention specialist with Westerville City Schools in the fulltime, self-contained gifted program for grade 5. During that time, she earned her Master’s in gifted and talented development from Ashland University. Suzanne became a national board certified teacher while teaching in the full-time gifted program and went on to complete her principal’s license through the Ohio State University. Suzanne has served as gifted education coordinator for Westerville City Schools for five years. She is now the gifted services coordinator for Worthington Schools.
