I think this course is vital for any educator because learning about how to identify gifted students is important to ensure their unique needs are met, avoid misidentification or under-identification, tailor instruction, advocate for resources and support, promote equity and fairness, and foster their intellectual and personal growth. Understanding identification processes helps educators provide appropriate programming and create an inclusive learning environment that maximizes the potential of gifted learners.
