Each year, thousands of gifted students go undiscovered in our classrooms. Without accurate identification, many of these students will never reach their full potential or benefit from the great resources available in our gifted programs. As teachers and educators in gifted education, one of our top priorities should be the screening, assessment, and identification of our gifted students.

  1. Laurie – HUTTO ISD (verified owner)

This is a good course, with lots of excellent ideas. I think the instructors talks a bit much in stereotypes, though (“gifted kids do this…gifted kids do that”…I think gifted kids are still individuals with unique traits. I did enjoy the course and learned a lot.

  2. Rachel – GREGORY-PORTLAND ISD (verified owner)

    Very interesting material presented.

  3. Andrea – SPRING BRANCH ISD (verified owner)

It was a good course, and Dr. Juntune was very knowledgeable and experienced in this area. A little bit of it wasn’t applicable to my situation just bc the district already laid out how they test for GT, but much of it was.

  4. Ashley – Aldine ISD (verified owner)

    I really liked the course.

  5. Brittany – ALAMO HEIGHTS ISD (verified owner)

I think this course had good information on what teachers could do in the classroom to help identify gifted students. I would have liked to see more examples and activities to do to monitor giftedness (i.e. how is ___ like ___?) rather than learning about the different tests.

  6. Kati – Private Pay (verified owner)

very insightful into the identification process of GT

  7. ROSA – ECTOR COUNTY ISD (verified owner)

I learnt many things I didn’t think can help me with my students.

  8. Lauren – CARROLL ISD (verified owner)

    Awesome!

  9. Sergio – WESLACO ISD (verified owner)

Very informative about the “labeling process”.

  10. Julia – CARROLLTON-FARMERS BRANCH ISD (verified owner)

It was a very informative course.
