Each year, thousands of gifted students go undiscovered in our classrooms. Without accurate identification, many of these students will never reach their full potential or benefit from the great resources available in our gifted programs. As teachers and educators in gifted education, one of our top priorities should be the screening, assessment, and identification of our gifted students.

The activities are a nice way to understand the information; however, there were several occasions where we needed a partner which was not available to do online at home.

  5. Evelyn – BURNET CISD (verified owner)

I love the tools provided that help the teacher collect data from observations. Collecting data can sometimes seem to be an overwhelming task, but the templates provided are easy to use and easily adaptable.

  6. Ciara – Aldine ISD (verified owner)

The strategies were good. Unfortunately alot of this is not done at the high school level but for information purposes of how my students got labeled was good to know!!

  7. Michael – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

Very well paced and great instruction

  8. Rebecca – UNITED ISD (verified owner)

  9. Ryan – PFLUGERVILLE ISD (verified owner)

    Highly useful.

  10. Kathleen – PRIORITY CHARTER SCHOOLS (verified owner)

I think the “fluid” and “crystalized” segment was extremely valuable. I also like the different types of tests that can be performed on GT students, but I also feel that non-gifted students could benefit from those types of tests. A lot of great stories from Joyce; she is a plethora of information! I highly recommend this course for ALL teachers.
