In this in-depth, 6-hour course, Joyce Juntune, Ph.D., delves deeply into essential strategies for developing creative thinking in the classroom. She believes that creative thinking is an essential component leading to the long-term success of gifted students educationally, personally, and professionally. Creative thinking has long been considered the highest form of mental functioning. Dr. Juntune explains how idea generation is the foundation of creative thinking, and she provides applicable tools you can use to help students generate new ideas.

Presenter Bio
Dr. Joyce Juntune is a renowned consultant, trainer, professor, and lecturer with more than 45 years of experience in the field of education. She is an instructional associate professor at Texas A&M University, and she teaches graduate-level courses in her expert areas of intelligence, child and adolescent development, educational psychology, giftedness, and creativity. She has focused the majority of her career on the areas of intelligence and gifted and talented education. Dr. Juntune has served as the executive director for the National Association for Gifted Children and the Institute for Applied Creativity at Texas A&M University.

Not all that applicable to my subject. Also all seems outdated. Did this exact same training about 4 years ago and not one thing has changed. That seems to go against the spirit and purpose of sitting here for 30 hrs. Somethings have ahd to of changed in the passing years
