I think that the presenter did an excellent job in looking at the misconceptions about gifted students, general motivations for gifted students (the 7 non-negotiables), and the need for a differentiated learning plan. She related educational concepts of intelligence, motivation, and differentiation to the gifted student. She also kept the theme of each student is unique as she gave strategies to differentiate instruction.
