This is a long winded and heavily anecdotal course. I often found it hard to pick out the information necessary to pass the quiz from the winding stories if I did not actively write notes the entire time (which is not typical of me). The training also has a very flexible and fluid approach to teaching students, which I thoroughly enjoy, but fear won’t be applicable to where and what I teach now. I fear that certain aspects are far too removed from my reality to be transferrable or useful. However, the instructor is very experienced and knowledgeable and I have learned important things about identification, needs, and differentiation for GT students from this course.
